The "Inverter-technology" is the key innovation for the development and realization of fail-safe and efficient air heat pumps.
The technical challenge is not to be underestimated, it results from the natural change of temperature of the "heat source" air around 30 degree, sometimes even around up to over 40 degrees, and moving in opposite directions rising the heat requirement of 0 to 100 % of the object which can be heated.
Thanks to the innovation "Inverter-technology" it is possible to adjust the compressor performance according to the changing needs, and that coupled with high efficiency of the electric drive (EC motor), which is made possible by the advanced power electronics available today. This huge development costs could be amortized by the enormous quantities produced in Asia. We have utilized this innovation for the outer part of our unit in collaboration with one of the most renowned manufacturers in this specialist field – the company Mitsubishi Electrics, Japan.
Different technology:
1. Zubadan technology, Ai1 QL, Ai2 QL, WPQLN or WPQL K.
The quasi two-stage process management (protected by patent) is the leader regarding efficiency and field of application. We have made the best experience with this solution at extreme outside temperatures in winter 09 / 10 in the low mountain range. Neutral collected measurements are available with a seasonal performance factor of 3.7 including domestic water heating.
2. Power inverter technology, Ai1 QLi, Ai2 QLi, WPQLNi or WPQLi K.
This solution represents the highest stage of development of inverter controlling. This solution is in many cases economically sufficient especially for retrofitting the climate cooling with the possibility for bivalent or mono-energy heat pump operation. This solution covers warmer countries requirements in any case, both the heating and cooling mode.
3. WATERKOTTE air conditioning units program
If it comes to thermal comfort combined with climate cooling, this product range enables comfortable, efficient and economic solutions.
This further developed unit program mainly meets a basic requirement of heat pump technology, to heat with the lowest possible flow temperatures. Example: When a heating with radiators which requires a flow temperature of 48 ° C on average during the heating period is replaced by WFC convectors which can be operated on average with 33 ° C, heating costs will be reduced by 30 to 40%.
